Girl I know has a late 90's Mustang GT.
Posts on facebook how her car is stuck in the snow all the time. So I say:
You should get winter tires.
She says: I already have them, all-season tires.
I say: That's not the same, winter tires would help you out a lot.
We'll see how things progress from there....

P.S.: That was formerly my Mustang. With some snow tires, I was able to plow through 4-6" of snow no problem. Well, not no problem, but I didn't get stuck.
